Menopause Café charity in running for award

Perth’s Menopause Café charity has been shortlisted in this year’s Scottish Charity Awards.

It is a finalist in the Campaign of the Year category, one of ten categories that will be decided at an awards ceremony in June.

A ribbon was launched in October to coincide with Menopause Awareness Month and World Menopause Day on October 18.

Run by the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), the awards celebrate the best of Scotland’s voluntary sector.

Menopause Café, founded by Rachel Weiss in Perth in 2017, are asking for the public to give them their vote.

Ms Weiss said: “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted in our category.
