Environment award for beekeeping Young Scot

A Kinross-shire schoolboy has received an environmental award for his beekeeping work.

Twelve-year-old Robert Tulloch from Portmoak Primary School buzzed into the limelight to win the Environment Award at this year's Young Scot Awards.

His passion for bees began when he started attending local beekeeping classes alongside his dad who is a member of Kinnesswood in Bloom.

Robert's enthusiasm blossomed when he won a competition in Beekeeper magazine and invested his cash winnings in new beekeeping tools.
