Arrests after £300k of drugs and cash seized on Perth road

A man and a woman have been arrested after police found £200,000 of cocaine and more than £80,000 in cash during searches of property and a car.

Officers stopped the car at about 12.55pm on Thursday as it was travelling southbound on the A90 near the Glendoick junction in Perth and Kinross.

They searched the vehicle and discovered more than £20,000 in cash.

Officers then executed a warrant at an address in the Earn Drive area of Tibbermore, near Perth, and arrested a 25-year-old man.
