With the annual Blisters for Bread less than two months away, organisers are appealing to Capetonians to sign up before the deadline on Sunday 2 August.
The iconic charity fun walk which is organised by Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) will take place on Sunday, 16 August, at the Sea Point Promenade.
With only 10 000 spots available, walkers are encouraged to enter for just R125, which will help feed 23 children with breakfast and lunch for a day. The fundraising event has been fighting childhood hunger for 58 years. It offers a 5km or 10km route, with medals and refreshments for all participants.
The 10km walk will start at 07:30 while the 5 km walk starts at 08:00.
