Springsteen hits after win

- TAYLOR MURRAY

Stephen Robinson’s neighbours know when the Glory Days have arrived as the St Mirren gaffer admits to blasting Bruce Springsteen songs after a win.

It has become a tradition in the Robinson household to enjoy the moments when they come around with some of the great hits by the famous American singer-songwriter and guitarist.

However, the 50-year-old says the persona he adopts when he is at work is very different to the one he has when he gets through his front door.

In an interview with BBC Sport Scotland, the Northern Irishman revealed that he is a private person when it comes to his home life as he and wife Robyn keep themselves to themselves.

“Off the pitch I am actually quite reserved,” he said.
