School praised for 'glowing report' from education inspectors

Top of the class Mossvale Primary School and early learning childcare class were given the thumbs up by Education Scotland inspectors

Renfrewshire councillors are set to celebrate a Paisley primary school and nursery class this week after they received an impressive inspection report.

Elected members are expected to note the strengths of Mossvale Primary School and early learning and childcare class (ELCC) at a meeting of the council's education and children's services policy board tomorrow after their performance in an Education Scotland inspection.

Councillor Ben Smith, a Labour representative for Paisley Northwest, applauded the facility as he reflected on the findings which were published last month.

He said: “Congratulations to the children, staff and parents of Mossvale Primary School and early learning and childcare class following their glowing report.

“It’s great to hear that the staff have created a very positive environment for the children to learn in.
