Positive verdict for town’s first ever legal walk

An immersive experience exploring Paisley’s rich legal and industrial past has been labelled a success.

Just under 30 folk came together on the evening of Tuesday, September 23, for the inaugural Paisley Legal Walk.

The event began at Paisley Sheriff Court where Sheriff Brian Mohan delivered a welcome address before the group set off to follow a guided route led by Paisley Tours.

With the help of personal headsets, participants heard powerful stories as they visited iconic legal landmarks, including the site of the globally-significant Donoghue v Stevenson case known as the 'snail in the bottle'.

Sheriff Mohan said: "I was delighted to support the inaugural Paisley Legal Walk this year.

"The event was well organised and attracted a healthy number of participants (and a dog).
