Mack's back on the beat

THE sun-kissed crime drama Death in Paradise has proved to one of the BBC’s biggest hits.

And it’s also spawned two successful spin-offs, one being Return to Paradise, which is back for a second series tonight. Now we see DI Mackenzie Clarke (Anna Samson) - who worked in London in the first series - back in her Australian home town Dolphin Cove.

Anna's character will be taking charge of more cases this series - with a little help from Det SC Colin Cartwright (Lloyd Griffith).

There are also matters of the heart to attend to - the last run ended with Mackenzie’s former fiance Glenn (Tai Hara) admitting he still had feelings for her, even though he's marrying his girlfriend Daisy (Andrea Demetriades).
