Hagg Bar seal league title for another season
Paisley Daily Express
|June 06, 2025
This week in the Paisley and District darts league the players met in the penultimate game of the season and with some crucial games taking place.
-
In Division One, current leaders Hagg Bar showed why they are at the top as they ran up a 9-0 home win over neighbours Callums, with the win guaranteeing they will retain their title for another year.
The loss for Callums means they face the prospect of 2nd Division darts next season.
Pockets A kept up the pressure on Hagg Bar A in their chase for the league title as they, too, dominated their home game against Hagg Bar C with the second 9-0 whitewash of the night.
The win for Pockets ensures they will finish the season as runners-up.
As a result of the loss for Hagg Bar C, they remain eighth, and their season could depend on other teams’ scorelines next week.
Clachan Arrows will finish the season in third place after this week's fine 7-2 home win over The Midton.
They are four points adrift of Pockets A and six points clear of their nearest rivals.
The loss for The Midton means they lose a place and now sit seventh in the table.
Flying Horse completed a trio of whitewash scores this week as they, too, dominated their match over neighbours Rumours, only losing two legs throughout the night.
