A dry-witted politician has poked fun at Renfrewshire Council's digital adviser Millie after it landed a national honour earlier this month.

Labour's Councillor Chris Gilmour teased the technology in deadpan fashion following its success in the leading innovation category at this year's Cosla Excellence Awards.
The local authority became the first in Scotland to introduce artificial intelligence (AI) powered technology to its customer contact centre a year ago.
But the system, which it previously admitted is "learning", has frustrated some residents and elected members who have grown irritated with its quirks.
