Clean sweep for firm as council grants bid for car wash facility

Plans for a new car wash facility at Phoenix Retail Park in Linwood have been given the green light by Renfrewshire Council.

Moonbeam Enterprises has been granted planning permission, subject to conditions, for the venture at the Pegasus Avenue site - once home to a Pizza Hut.
The service will consist of six jet wash bays, a rollover car wash and vacuum provision, as well as a dog wash setup and launderette.
A report of handling by the council explained: “Six jet wash bays and an associated plant room would be located in the centre of the site.
“The bays and plant room would have a combined footprint of 200 square metres and would reach a maximum height of 4.1 metres.
