With spring now upon us, the long wait for cricket fans is just about over.
Ferguslie Cricket Club have arranged a couple of challenge matches ahead of the 2025 season curtain-raiser at the beginning of next month.
On Saturday, April 19, Ferguslie travel to Edinburgh South then face Grange on Saturday, April 26 at Meikleriggs with a 12noon start.
The eagerly-anticipated Western Premiership One action gets underway on Saturday, May 3 with a trip to Stenhousemuir.
Meanwhile, the second XI open with a double-header against Motherwell on Sunday, April 20 (away) and Sunday, April 27 (home) before entering the competitive arena against The Tryst the following weekend.
