Blooming great view of town hall

This week's then image shows a corner of Paisley which has barely changed in the past 50 years.

The image shows the front of the George A Clark Town Hall with the tower visible behind the trees on a sunny day in 1974.

The same vista, at the interchange between Gauze Street and Cotton Street, still has a floral display. Only the newbuild flats to the right show a real difference in 2024.

A transformation has, however, taken place inside the town hall with the recently completed development of the interior.
