EPFO HOLDS RATE AT 8.25% FOR 3RD YEAR

Retirement fund body Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), for the third year in a row, fixed the interest rate on fund deposits at 8.25 per cent for 2025-26, a Union Labour Ministry statement said Monday.

In February last year, the EPFO had retained the rate of interest at 8.25 per cent for 2024-25. In 2024, the EPFO increased the interest rate marginally to 8.25 per cent for 2023-24, from 8.15 per cent in 2022-23.
