14 varsities get new VCs

Governor and Chancellor of universities Hari Babu Kambhampati extended his best wishes to the newly appointed VCs

In a major reshuffle in higher education institutions, Governor and Chancellor of universities Hari Babu Kambhampati Monday appointed Vice-Chancellors to 14 universities in the state.

The appointments were made in exercise of powers conferred under the proviso to subsection (1) of Section 6 of Odisha Universities Act, 1989, and Section 8 of Odia University Act, 2017.
