OUR REPORTER TOOK THE ROUTE EUROPEAN VISITORS WILL WALK TO NOTTINGHAM FOREST'S CITY GROUND... HERE'S WHAT HE SAW
THE walk to Nottingham Forest's City Ground is an energetic pre-match treat, with two main routes available and hundreds of Reds on the streets.
It's hard to go the wrong way, yet some are questioning whether more could be done to enhance the experience before thousands of European visitors come to watch Uefa Europa Conference League football next to Trent Bridge.
The Premier League season ended after Forest's 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday, Depending on whether they progress in a play-off match in August, Forest could play up to four European sides by the end of the year.
This in turn means that Nottingham will become a destination for international fans. What will these fans encounter on their way to the ground?
Well, after attending the game on Sunday and taking the alternative routes last week, I documented what they will see when they embark on their trip to Forest's home turf.
The Arkwright Way Walk - through The Meadows
If you are heading to the ground from the city centre, one of the routes will take you through The Meadows, an inner-city area that has undergone vast development in recent years. The main area of focus for these developments is Arkwright Walk, a straight boulevard that will lead to London Road right in front of Trent Bridge.
