NOTTINGHAM Forest were closing in on the appointment of Vitor Pereira as their new head coach yesterday.
The Portuguese was expected to become the Reds' fourth manager of the season after Sean Dyche was axed on Wednesday evening following a 0-0 home draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, while Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou were given the boot earlier in the campaign.
