UNIVERSITY of Nottingham staff have voted for strike action against job cuts that are being made while “extremely concerning” amounts of money are spent on a new campus.

Earlier this year, the Russell Group university said it wanted to cut more than 356 roles after bosses concluded that a £40 million planned reduction in spending and the sale of its Kings Meadow Campus would not be enough to stabilise its struggling finances.
