University burglary suspect arrested at Heathrow on way to Germany

ITEMS worth £15,000 were stolen from a city university campus, say police who have arrested a suspect in London before he could board a flight to Germany.

The man, aged 34, was identified as a suspect after a break-in at a University of Nottingham campus at University Boulevard, Nottingham.

A wide variety of electronic appliances were among the items stolen. The incident took place on March 18 between 4.25pm and 7.20pm.

The suspect was identified after officers analysed CCTV footage from the campus.
