Sosa set for £10m return to South America and Palmeiras after Nuno 'makes intervention'

HEAD coach Nuno Espirito Santo has reportedly convinced Ramon Sosa a move away from Nottingham Forest is best for his career.

The winger is in line to leave the City Ground after 12 months at the club. A summer switch to Palmeiras is on the cards, with reports suggesting a 'full agreement' has been reached between the two teams.

Sosa joined the Reds from Talleres 12 months ago but struggled for game time Trentside last season. He featured just 23 times in the Garibaldi, with all but four of his appearances coming from off the bench.

Palmeiras had their eye on the Paraguayan in January. Forest reportedly turned down a bid from the Brazilian outfit back then because Sosa made it clear he did not want to leave.
