Search goes on for submerged vehicle in river

POLICE are continuing to search the River Trent in Nottingham after a car vanished the water.

Officers have again been scouring a stretch of the river near Victoria Embankment, after a car was seen in the water near Wilford Suspension Bridge on Saturday, November 15.

Nottinghamshire Police's search teams returned to the area of interest near the embankment yesterday morning.
