Scottish rockers are back with a bang after turbulent times

IT was new song A Little Love with its huge infectious rock chorus that opened Biffy Clyro's first show at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena since 2010, and on Monday night it was a sold out crowd that welcomed them back.

Touring to promote their tenth studio album, Futique, Biffy Clyro have put behind them their major burnout and rifts.

Founding member James Johnston is absent on this tour due to mental health and addiction issues, but there was a remarkable stand-in with bassist Naomi Macleod filling his shoes.

With crunching guitars and moody riffs, they wanted to give the crowd something special.
