Pub is back to five stars after kitchen shock

A PUB which temporarily closed its kitchen due to a damning inspection report has turned around its fortunes.

The Badger Box, in Kirkby-inAshfield, was given a one-star food hygiene rating last month following a visit by Ashfield District Council's (ADC) environmental health team.
The Greene King-run pub took the "immediate action" to close the kitchen for the day. The venue regained its five-star rating after a re-inspection earlier this week.
