Police boost patrols as park louts set fires and throw golf balls at staff

A COUNCIL has expressed its outrage over louts using golf facilities without paying and throwing golf balls at staff when challenged.

Mansfield District Council spoke out over unruly behaviour by adults and children at King George V Park.

A social media post details how park staff confronted the intruders when it became clear they had not paid for the golf or disc golf facilities.

When they were asked to leave, some responded by throwing golf balls at the staff and reacting aggressively.
