Pervert had almost 2,000 abuse images

A PERVERT was found to have nearly 2,000 sick child abuse images on his devices at the Beeston home he shares with his mother.

Nottingham Crown Court heard how Daniel Hanford's “deeply unpleasant offences” saw him gain sexual pleasure from viewing the vile material, which also included cartoon depictions of children being molested.

But the 34-year-old has been spared immediate custody due to a combination of factors including his lack of previous convictions, his remorse and a letter from his mother, who was in court to support him.
