Outline permission for 134 homes on site of old town primary school

PLANNING permission has been granted for 134 homes on the site of an old Mansfield primary school.

An application for the development between the back of Abbott Road and the A617 at the top end of Ladybrook was first submitted in 2023.

The 4.98-hectare site is owned by Nottinghamshire County Council and consists of overgrown playing fields and hard ground where now-demolished Rosebrook Primary School once stood.

The homes will be a mix of three-and four-bed houses, bungalows and one and two-bed flats.
