Original Warhammer artwork set to go under the hammer

A REMARKABLE piece of gaming history with strong ties to Nottingham is set for auction next month, with hopes it could fetch as much as £400,000.

The original cover artwork for the first edition of Warhammer, featuring John Blanche's Harry the Hammer will feature at an auction in London on December 11.
The artwork was created in 1983 using ink and gouache and is signed and dated “J.Blanche.83". It measures 27.2cm x 26.9cm.
