Treacy was left to rue his Olympic start at Milano Cortina 2026 after wiping out in the men’s 1,000m short track.Nottingham-based Treacy is Team GB's lone short track speed skater here and took to the ice in his best and favourite event to kick off his Olympic campaign in Italy.

The 25-year-old from Henley-in-Arden won bronze in the 1,000m at the 2024 European Championships and has banked strong World Cup results in the distance throughout his career.
