New plea for information over crash that claimed lives of three men

A MAN arrested on suspicion of causing the death of three men by dangerous driving remains in a critical condition in hospital.

Emergency services were called to Cotgrave Road, Tollerton, shortly after 11pm on Thursday, May 22 following reports of a crash.

Three men in a grey Volkswagen Golf - named locally as Luke Newton, 21; Harry Archer, 23 and Pearce Haran, 19 - died at the scene.

A 26-year-old man, who was in a blue Volkswagen Golf, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
