Men That Matter now has a sister group

A NOTTINGHAMSHIRE woman has started a women’s mental health group, 18 months after her husband set up a similar group aimed at men.

Women That Matter, set up by Denise Martin, aims to help women tackle issues with their mental health.

Denise set up the group after her husband, John, realised there was a high demand for a women’s group while leading his Men That Matter group. John suffers from depression, PTSD and anxiety and his issues began taking their toll on his wife.

Denise wants to help women who are struggling to maintain a strong relationship with partners who are battling mental health struggles.
