Magpies interest in Elanga 'still alive'

NOTTINGHAM Forest's resolve to keep hold of Anthony Elanga looks set to be tested when the transfer window reopens.
Deals are currently paused for Premier League teams as this summer's window has been split into two due to the Club World Cup.
Part one came to a close on Tuesday, but it will not be long before transfer business can begin again, with the window reopening on Monday (June 16).
Prior to the mini window closing, news emerged Newcastle United had reignited their interest in Reds ace Elanga. The Magpies were keen on the winger 12 months ago and it was reported they had their eye on him once again.
Forest are said to have slapped a £50 million price tag on the Sweden international's head. However, it seems Newcastle have not been deterred.
