COMFORTABLE STRAIGHT SETS WIN FOR BOULTER

TWO-TIME champion Katie Boulter reached the last 16 of the LTA's Lexus Nottingham Open after a comforta-ble straight sets success over Lulu Sun.
Boulter barely broke a sweat against the former Wimbledon quarter-finalist, dispatching Sun 6-2, 6-2 during a busy day for British talent, with Sonay Kartal, Francesca Jones, Harriet Dart and Mimi Xu all in action.
The LTA's Lexus Nottingham Open has been a happy hunting ground for Boulter after back-to-back triumphs in 2023 and 2024 and she admitted that the event is like a second home.
"I'm very happy to re-enter the tournament," said Boulter. "Coming back here feels as close as home as home can be.
