Is it the River Leen or the River Lime?

PART OF BULWELL HAS BECOME A HOTSPOT FOR DUMPING CITY'S HIRE E-BIKES
THE introduction of Lime Bikes to Nottingham has not been without its teething problems, mostly regarding where they are left.
Sometimes people struggle to find one when in need of transport home and if you've ever been in that position then people in Bulwell can point you in the right direction.
Sadly, that direction is a river, and the bikes are almost certainly not usable after being retrieved.
The River Leen or the River Lime, as residents have nicknamed it has become a hotspot for dumping of Lime Bikes and the Environment Agency has been tackling the problem weekly.
Despite the bikes being pulled out of the river, residents say that new ones always appear.
The Environment Agency say that Lime is ignoring it, although Lime says it would be "happy to collaborate" on tackling the problem.
It's left the people of Bulwell distinctly unimpressed, with people who enjoy walking along the path by the river saying it hasn't been without a bike or two (or five) since the scheme was implemented early last year.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "We have tried to engage with Lime Bikes several times about this issue. However, they have not responded to date.
