BOOKWORM Amy Hunt insists she is both an academic badass and track goddess after a “sexy and aggressive” World Championship silver medal.

The 23-year-old produced a stunning finish to the 200m final to finish second behind the dominant American Melissa Jefferson-Wooden.

Grantham’s Hunt studied English Literature at Cambridge University just a year after she was labelled one of the “faces to define the decade” by Vogue magazine for smashing the under-18s world record.

A toxic combination of long-term injury, draining illness and mental burnout threatened to ruin her career but amid the best year of her life she has finally written her own happy ending.
