Green light for football club's expansion

WORKSOP Town Football Club will be building four new stands after “growing community interest and the club's strong performance”.

The club, based at Windsor Foodservice Stadium in Sandy Lane, says it has had years of “rebuilding and sustained progress” and was promoted to the Enterprise National League North last year.
To meet league requirements and enhance the matchday experience, the club says it is looking to improve its facilities.
Bassetlaw District Council has now approved plans for four new spectator stands and turnstiles.
