Five names in frame as Forest continue summer search

THE transfer window hasn't exactly come alight for Nottingham Forest yet but plenty of work is going on behind the scenes at the City Ground.

- By SARAH CLAPSON

Striker Igor Jesus and defender Jair Cunha remain the Reds' only two signings to date. The pair joined from Botafogo earlier this month and could make their debuts in today's friendly against Fulham (8pm).

Forest still have plenty of work to do in the transfer market, though, to ensure head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has a sufficiently-strong squad for the new campaign. The Portuguese requires options across the pitch to cope with the addition of European football in 2025-26.

Things might not be moving as quickly as fans would like in the battle for new signings but the Reds will hope patience pays off as they search for the right additions.

Below is a look at some key targets and deals being worked on.

Dan Ndoye

There is no question Nuno needs wingers following the departures of Anthony Elanga and Ramon Sosa. Bologna's Ndoye has been identified as a key target.
