CITY'S NEW INDIAN RESTAURANT IS LIKE NO OTHER

Echoes of Mumbai - with a little bit of Mayfair and Soho

The offering and vibe is different to the hustle and bustle of the of the fast-paced deli, although the dedication to traditional family recipes and authentic Indian flavours remains the same.

With space for just over 100, it’s three times bigger than the deli.

The richly coloured, luxurious Indian-themed decor creates a relaxed setting. No expense has been spared on the William Morris drapes and wallpaper, the marble tables, and the lacquered herringbone floor, which took three weeks to lay.

Majestic wooden doors used by the Maharajas to enter a palace are a showpiece, along with other impressive features such as an open kitchen with a Indian marble counter, and bar with an arched wooden overhead gantry displaying bottles of whiskey.
