ARMY VETERAN USED HIS TRAINING TO PUT PRESSURE ON WOUND ON VICTIM'S BACK
A HOUSEHOLDER has recalled how he sprang into action after a man burst into his home with a stab wound.
Daryl White was relaxing in his hot tub when he and his partner heard screaming coming from the front of their home in Hardwick Lane, Sutton-In-Ashfield, at around 7.10pm on Sunday.
When Mr White reached his front door, he said he found a man with a stab wound to his back.
"They came into the house, we saw it on the camera, so I went and checked it out,” he said.
“He's just come into our front garden. I’m ex-Army, so I just put pressure on the stab wound on his back.
“Then the police came and cordoned it all off.
