Copper City's new owners reveal plans for landmark bar

A CITY centre bar popular for brunch, lunch, dinner, cask ales and cocktails has been sold.

Copper City, a landmark venue on the corner of Market Street opposite Nottingham's Theatre Royal, was put up for sale for £900,000 in May.
The sale was completed last month. The new owner is Amber Taverns, a company which has more than 180 pubs across the country. It also operates The Byron in Mansfield, The White Hart in Newark and The Unicorn in Worksop.
The business describes itself as passionate about public houses and the communities it serves.
It promises a superb range at great value, comfortable and great design, and market-leading sports coverage and atmosphere.
