Charity chief forced to run service from her own home after city council eviction

A CHARITY boss fears the lines between her work and personal life have been blurred after an eviction pushed her to relocate the organisation to her family home.

Hyacinth Francis, chief executive of the Chayah Development Project, has struck out at Nottingham City Council after relocating her outreach work from a headquarters in Robin Hood Chase, St Ann's to her own home.

Hyacinth, who offers support to vulnerable youths and their families, said: "There is no rest, there is no escape. People know where I live now. There isn’t a cutoff anymore.

"I don’t want my grandkids to come here at present - I don’t want people to recognise them."
