IT is a big summer for Nottingham Forest as they prepare for their fifth season in the Premier League.
Vitor Pereira steered the club to safety after becoming the Reds’ fourth head coach of the campaign in February.
In the end, his team did it with some room to spare but avoiding being in a similar situation will be the aim for 2026/27.
Having had a taste of European football, Forest want more of it.
They want to get back to competing on the continent and will hope to push at the other end of the top-flight table when the new term begins.
To ensure they have the best possible chance of doing that, Pereira has acknowledged the importance of the off-season.
