Education aims at bringing all round development of man. All round development implies that it aims at enriching our reasoning faculties as well as enabling us to earn honestly.

Now a days one of the most disturbing socio-economic problems in our country is the problem of unemployment. Our system of education is responssible for this. The question of vocational education has arisen from the failure of the present system of education to equip young hands with works which will survive them. The word vocation means profession. Vocational education makes the youth so proficient tgat they can fall back on them to earn their livelihood.
