PV dispatches up 4% in September: Siam

Passenger vehicle (PV) dispatches from companies to dealers rose 4% year-on-year in September to 372,458 units, industry body Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (Siam) said on Wednesday.

The overall PV dispatches last month rose 4.4% to 3,72,458 units, as against 3,56,752 units in September 2024. Two-wheeler sales witnessed a 7% on-year rise to 2,160,889 units last month, as compared to 2,025,993 units in the year-ago period, Siam said. Total three-wheele
