Tata Trusts board inducts Noel Tata's son Neville, Bhaskar Bhat

Tata Trusts on Tuesday inducted Neville Tata, son of Noel Tata, and Bhaskar Bhat, former Titan Co.Ltd chief executive, on the board of Sir Dorabji Tata Trusts (SDTT).
Thisis the lar; est Tata philanthropic entit owning 27.98% of Tata Sons, the holding company of the $300 billion Tata Group.
At32, Neville isnow arguably the youngest among the Tata trustees. His induction comes II months after his father, Noel, became chairman of Tata Trusts.
“The Board of Trustees of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT) held a meeting today and unanimously approved the induction of Mr Bhaskar Bhat and Mr Neville Tata as Trustees with effect from 12th November 2025 for a period of 3years,” saida statement from Tata Trusts. It also appointed Venu Srinivasan as vice-chairman and trustee for three years from 12 November, “in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
During the last years of Ratan Tata’s tenure, Neville used to spend time with the business doyen, which a few family membersreferred to as mentorship.
Last year, he was appointed as the business head of Trent Ltd’s grocery business, Star. Noel Tata, in addition to being the chair of the Tata Trusts and amember of the Tata Sons board, is also the chairman of Trent, Tata International, and Tata Investment Corp.
With the induction of Bhat and Neville, SDTT now has seven members, while the Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) has six. SDTT owns 27.98% in Tata Sons while SRTT owns 23.56%.
