Listed home developers are focusing on increasing their capital expenditure (capex) towards acquiring new land parcels.
Listed home developers are focusing on increasing their capital expenditure (capex) towards acquiring new land parcels. On an aggregate basis, developers have utilized around 35% of their collections on land-related capex in FY25 compared to 28% in FY24 and 22% in FY23, showed an analysis by Nuvama Research.
A combination of favorable factors, including healthy collections, is giving most realty firms the financial muscle to aggressively invest in land. Aggregate collections and operating cash flows were up 24% year-on-year each in FY25, showed Nuvama data.
