Govt to lift limit on diesel sales from 1 July

Amid easing crude oil and fuel supply conditions, the petroleum and natural gas ministry will remove the cap on procurement of diesel at retail pumps from 1 July.

On 12 June, the ministry had imposed a cap of 200 litre per customer in a day due to supply squeeze amid the West Asia war and higher bulk demand.
