ICICI Pru Life profit up 34% to ₹302 cr

CICI Prudential Life Insurance on Tuesday reported a 34% rise in first-quarter profit, helped by higher premiums from group policies and lower operating costs.

The life insurer reported a profit after tax of ₹302 crore for the quarter ended 30 June, compared to ₹225 crore a year before.
