Referred to high ammonia level in Yamuna water for Delhi; Haryana CM at fault

AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal submitted a six-page reply to the Election Commission, defending his earlier claim about "poison" in Yamuna water by clarifying that he was referring to high ammonia levels.

Accompanied by Delhi and Punjab chief ministers Atishi and Bhagwant Mann, Kejriwal brought three water bottles to demonstrate the issue. He accused Haryana's Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini of a "conspiracy" to influence the Delhi Assembly polls by sending polluted water. In his reply, Kejriwal specified that the "poison" he mentioned was ammonia and referenced Delhi Jal Board officials for technical details about water contamination. Congratulating Delhi residents, Kejriwal announced that the water quality had improved after his government raised the alarm. “Today, the struggle of the AAP government and the people of Delhi has succeeded. The ammonia level in Delhi’s water, which was at a dangerous 7 PPM, has dropped to 2.1 PPM,” he said.
