'No false promises': CM points to policy push as 100 days complete

Says her govt is working hard to solve issues like Yamuna, pollution

NEW DELHI: "We can't make false promises," said Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday while underlining that public welfare and structural reforms have been prioritised by her government which has completed 100 days.

Speaking at a public programme at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here to mark the BJP's 100 days in power, she emphasised that her administration has put focus on policy formulation and accused the previous government of neglecting civic facilities in the national capital.

"My government spent 100 days in making policies and working for the betterment of Delhi," she said, adding, "We can't make false promises. We are working honestly to solve issues like the cleaning of the Yamuna and removal of garbage dumps."

Making Delhi clean, beautiful and healthy is the Delhi government's priority, the CM said in a conversation with film actor Anupam Kher during the programme.
