Bihar polls: EC may deploy nearly one lakh CAPF troops

EC announced that 243-member Assembly will go to polls in 2 phases on Nov 6 and 11
Nearly one lakh troops of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPE) are likely to be deployed in Bihar for ensuring free, fair and peaceful Assembly polls in the state, officials said on Tuesday.
The CAPF personnel will be deployed along with those of the Bihar Police for the two-phased Bihar Assembly polls.
The EC has announced that the 243-member Bihar Assembly will go to polls on November 6 and 11. The counting of votes will be taken up on November 14.
